I'm going to Toronto June 1-7 to do some shooting for a band, and to supervise my brother in his rowing championship (my brother is 16, we have a tremendous age gap). I'm excited to go, to spend time with my brother and to shoot the band. I'm also excited, because I'm taking the train.

New Website on it's waaaaay.

I've a new website on its way that I've been working on for some time. I'm trying to move forward into being more of a professional photographer than an industrious amateur.

Those of you who make money as photographers feel free to offer suggestions as to how to make money. I'm not looking to get rich or be famous, I'm looking to eat and keep a roof over my head while doing something I love. I don't know if word of mouth will be enough in this city. I know I need to shoot more models, and with more designers and such, but I also need to find out how to make any money.

Wow.

I cannot believe it. More than 2000 views! You guys rock sooo much. Still. I'm honored for every page view that someone has made. I can't imagine anyone seeing that much of my work, ever. For those of you who watch me, thank you soo much for your support. I've recieved many many suggestions that have helped me be a better photographer and artist. Thanks so very much.

I did some printing yesterday, with Jay-peg. Much to my pleasant surprise, a lot of the work turned out really rather well. I still have to learn the limits of the printers I'll work with, but I really do think that it's passable.

Problem for me is, I'm kinda not sure where I go from here. I know it can take a while to build a business from photography, which is certainly fine. I'd like to pose a few pointed questions to anyone who is an artist, and who tries to make money at it....

How did you get started ?

How much of your income is from art? (If any)

Mow much of your time is spent doing things you hate to support your art ?

I'm not sure if anyone will be able to answer these questions (Heck, I'm not sure that people even read my journals). But, I'm enjoying what I'm doing these days, and I'd like to keep it up if I can afford to do so.

Sorry to all about the subject of my last posts. Not only did it take *PinkTattoo to point out that I had violated DevArt's policy, but I got some pretty negative feedback about the pics. Sorry if the subject matter bothered anyone, and I'm sorry if anyone felt I betrayed their trust. I do really appreaciate the feedback and inpsiration I get from you folks comments, posts, and favorites. I was already pretty nervous about posting these.

Rest assured, no one will open a scrap from me, or a Deviation from me and see such subjects again. I hope that you folks keep up the support, comments, and good work.

More corset stuff to come - I'm just working on my Thesis this week. I'm hoping to do some more portraits shortly.
